New study tests machines that fix donor lungs before transplant

Summary
This study compares two medical devices used to recondition lungs from marginal donors before transplantation. About 20 adults needing a double lung transplant will take part. The goal is to see which device helps more donor lungs become suitable for transplant and improves patient recovery.
