Scientists test new Two-Drug attack on tough lung cancer
NCT ID NCT02812667
Summary
This early-stage study tested a new drug, plinabulin, combined with an existing immunotherapy (nivolumab) for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that had worsened after chemotherapy. The main goal was to find the safest and most effective dose of the new combination. Researchers enrolled 18 patients to see how well the two drugs worked together to control the cancer.
