New drug combo aims to shrink lung tumors before surgery
NCT ID NCT07410975
Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of two immunotherapy drugs plus chemotherapy given before surgery can help shrink tumors in patients with stage II-III non-small cell lung cancer. The treatment is given to 54 patients who are scheduled for surgery, with the goal of reducing cancer in the tumor before it's removed. After surgery, patients may continue receiving immunotherapy for up to one year to help prevent the cancer from returning.
