New drug combo tested to keep lung cancer from returning after surgery
NCT ID NCT06267001
Summary
This study tested whether adding tiragolumab to atezolizumab immunotherapy helps prevent lung cancer from coming back after surgery and chemotherapy. It involved 56 people with certain stages of non-small cell lung cancer whose tumors had a specific marker (PD-L1 positive). The trial was stopped early and focused mainly on safety rather than effectiveness results.
