Summary
This study looks at whether a simple saliva test can find people at high risk for lung cancer more accurately than asking about their smoking history. Researchers will collect saliva from about 1,000 adults aged 50-74 and check for DNA changes linked to smoking. The goal is to create a home-based saliva test that could help decide who needs a lung scan, catching more cancers early.
