Text messages could boost lung cancer screening in underserved communities

Summary
This study aims to find the best ways to increase lung cancer screening among current and former smokers aged 50-80 in community health centers. About 19,000 participants will receive text messages and clinic support to complete eligibility checks and low-dose CT scans. The goal is to catch lung cancer early in people who might otherwise miss screening.
