First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests a new imaging method that helps surgeons find and remove the very first lymph node that drains from a lung tumor. By targeting this node, doctors hope to better detect and remove cancer cells that may have spread. The study involves 57 adults with early-stage lung cancer who are already scheduled for surgery.
