First seen Mar 02, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tested a new blood test that looks for cancer DNA in the blood of 22 people with advanced lung cancer. The goal was to see if the test could find gene changes as well as the standard tissue biopsy method. If successful, this blood test could make it easier and faster to choose the right treatment without needing an invasive procedure.
