New AI-Powered procedure aims to zap and diagnose lung cancer in one go

Summary
This study is testing a combined procedure to diagnose and treat early-stage lung cancer. It will enroll 200 patients who have small, hazy lung nodules. Doctors will use microwave energy to destroy the nodule while also taking a tissue sample during the same procedure to confirm if it's cancer. The goal is to find the best settings for the treatment and to see if using artificial intelligence (AI) helps improve diagnosis.
