First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study compares two ways of taking tissue samples from lung tumors: the standard needle method (EBUS-TBNA) and a newer freezing technique (cryobiopsy). The goal is to see which method provides better samples for genetic testing, which helps doctors choose the right treatment. About 250 adults with suspected lung cancer will take part. The results will help improve how we collect tissue for personalized cancer care.
