7,500 lung cancer patients join study to speed up precision treatment

Summary
This study follows 7,500 people with newly diagnosed non-small cell lung cancer to see how quickly they get biomarker testing and whether the results guide their first treatment. Researchers want to find out what delays testing, such as tissue issues or insurance problems, so they can improve care in community cancer centers. Participants do not receive any experimental treatment; the study simply observes their standard care.
