Could a new pill ease depression linked to childhood trauma?

Summary
This study tests if the drug lumateperone can reduce depression symptoms in adults aged 21 to 70 who have major depression and a history of early life trauma. About 50 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo for 6 weeks. Researchers will also use brain scans to understand how the drug works.
