Experimental dual-targeted cell therapy for hard-to-treat lymphoma tested in early trial
NCT ID NCT06295549
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This early-phase trial tested a new cell therapy called LUCAR-G39P in 11 adults with relapsed or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The therapy uses a patient's own immune cells that are modified to target two markers (CD19 and CD20) on cancer cells. The main goals were to check safety, find the right dose, and measure how long the modified cells last in the body. The study was terminated early, so results are limited.
