New hope for rare tumors: radioactive therapy targets Hard-to-Treat cancers

Summary
This study tests a radioactive drug called Lu-177-DOTATATE in people with rare tumors (pheochromocytoma or paraganglioma) that cannot be removed by surgery. The goal is to see if the drug can slow or stop tumor growth and to check its safety. About 130 adults will receive four doses of the drug through an IV, about 8 weeks apart, and will be followed for up to 3 years.
