Targeted radiation therapy tested for rare, Hard-to-Treat tumors

NCT ID NCT03206060

Summary

This study is testing whether a radioactive drug called Lu-177-DOTATATE can safely help control rare adrenal and nerve-related tumors that cannot be removed by surgery. Adults with these specific tumors that show up on a special PET scan will receive four doses of the drug over several months. Researchers will track how long it takes for the cancer to get worse and monitor side effects to see if this treatment is effective.
