First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This early-phase study is testing an experimental oral drug called LP-168 in about 60 people with several types of B-cell blood cancers that have come back or not responded to prior treatments. The main goals are to find the safest dose and to see how the drug behaves in the body. Researchers will also look for signs that the drug is shrinking tumors.

What this could lead to

If it works, this could point toward a new treatment option for people with certain blood cancers that have not responded to other therapies.

What could go wrong

This is a very early Phase 1 trial with only 60 participants, so it is primarily testing safety and dosing. The drug may not work well or could have serious side effects.
