MRI guides precision radiation to spare healthy tissue in prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT06171269

Summary

This study is testing whether using MRI scans to guide radiation treatment can allow doctors to safely use lower overall radiation doses for prostate cancer. The goal is to reduce side effects like bowel problems while still effectively treating the cancer. Researchers will track 60 men with intermediate- or high-risk prostate cancer to see if this approach improves quality of life without compromising cancer control.
