First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study aims to see if using a lower gas pressure (8 mmHg) during gynecologic laparoscopic surgery reduces pain after the procedure compared to standard pressure (15 mmHg). About 190 women having surgery for non-cancerous conditions will participate. They will report their pain levels at 1, 3, and 24 hours after surgery using a questionnaire.
