Summary
This study tested whether a portable, low-field MRI machine can safely and feasibly detect acute brain injury in children (ages 0-17) who are on ECMO life support. Twenty participants were scanned at the bedside in the ICU. The goal was to measure safety, time needed, and staff required, not to treat or cure any condition.
