Summary
This study tested a new treatment for people with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer, a fast-growing cancer that has spread. The treatment combines low-dose radiation, an immunotherapy drug (durvalumab), and standard chemotherapy. The goal was to see if this combination helps keep the cancer from growing longer. The study enrolled 30 adults and is no longer recruiting new participants.
