First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether a low-dose combination of two drugs (cytarabine and thalidomide) can control Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) in adults who have not received prior treatment. LCH is a rare disease where immune cells build up and damage tissues. The trial will enroll 50 adults aged 18–70 with moderate-to-severe disease. The main goal is to see how long the disease stays under control without worsening.
