First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested a new parent support program delivered via text messaging. The program includes six educational videos teaching strategies to help children with ADHD-like behaviors handle daily transitions. 52 parents of children aged 4-10 participated. The study measured how many videos parents watched, their satisfaction, and changes in child behavior. It is a small feasibility study, so results are preliminary.

- What this could lead to
- If successful, this program could offer a simple, accessible way for parents to ease daily transition struggles with children showing ADHD-like behaviors.
- What could go wrong
- This is a small feasibility study with no control group, so results may not prove effectiveness. The program is only available in Japanese and targets a specific behavior (transitions), limiting generalizability.
