Lung cancer drug under the microscope: how does lorlatinib perform outside clinical trials?

NCT ID NCT07567352

First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at how well the lung cancer medicine lorlatinib works when used as the first treatment for people with a specific type of advanced lung cancer (ALK-positive non-small cell lung cancer). Researchers will review medical records from a U.S. database to track how long patients stay on the drug, any dose changes, and when they switch to another treatment. About 200 adults who started lorlatinib between 2021 and the present are included. This is an observational study, meaning no new treatments are given—it simply gathers real-world information to understand how the drug is used in everyday practice.
