New hope for rare lung disease: 2-Year safety trial launches

Summary
This study looks at the long-term safety of a weekly intravenous treatment for people with a rare genetic condition that causes lung damage (emphysema). About 290 adults who completed a previous study will receive the drug for 2 more years. The main goal is to monitor side effects and see how well the treatment is tolerated over time.
