New immune-boosting treatment tested for long-term safety in rare disease patients

NCT ID NCT06076642

First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at the long-term safety of a medicine called TAK-881 in adults and children with primary immunodeficiency diseases (PIDD), a condition where the immune system is weak. Participants had already taken part in an earlier study of TAK-881. They will continue receiving the same dose, with possible adjustments, and visit the clinic every 12 weeks. The goal is to see if the treatment is safe and well-tolerated over time.
