Summary
This study followed patients with moderate to severe acne to check the long-term safety of an oral medication called ASC40 (Denifanstat). The 240 participants, who had already completed a previous 12-week study, took the tablet once daily for up to 40 weeks. The main goal was to monitor for side effects and see how well the drug continued to work on acne symptoms over a longer period.
