New hope for slowing a rare neurological disease
NCT ID NCT06447025
Summary
This study aims to understand the long-term safety and potential benefits of a daily injection called CTI-1601 for people with Friedreich's ataxia, a genetic disorder that affects movement and the heart. It will enroll about 85 adults and adolescents, including some who have tried the drug before and some who have not. Researchers will track side effects, measure drug levels in the body, and see if the treatment helps with movement, balance, and daily activities over time.
