Scientists track Long-Term effects of groundbreaking brain gene therapy
NCT ID NCT07081841
Summary
This study is tracking the long-term safety and effectiveness of an experimental gene therapy called AB-1005 in people with Parkinson's disease or a related condition called MSA. It follows 132 participants who received the therapy in earlier trials to see how well they tolerate it over many years and whether the benefits last. The goal is to gather important long-term safety information to help understand this potential treatment better.
