Summary
This study aimed to understand the lasting health problems adults can face after surviving a severe case of malaria. Researchers followed 56 adults who were treated for severe malaria to see what issues, like kidney or brain problems, were still present one year later. The goal was to improve how doctors monitor and care for people after they recover from this serious infection.
