Summary
This study followed 137 people who had severe COVID-19 pneumonia and needed high-flow oxygen in the ICU. Researchers checked their quality of life and survival more than 2 years after they were randomly placed on their stomachs while awake or not. The goal is to see if this simple positioning technique has lasting benefits.
