Repeated injections tested to control debilitating arm stiffness
NCT ID NCT07478822
Summary
This study is testing the long-term safety and effectiveness of repeated injections of a new botulinum toxin (YY001) for adults with stiff, tight arm muscles (spasticity) after a stroke. It will involve about 300 participants who will receive multiple treatments over time. The main goal is to see if the injections are safe over the long term and if they continue to help reduce muscle stiffness and improve daily activities like dressing and hygiene.
