New study uses brain scans to uncover long COVID's hidden inflammation

Summary
This study is looking at whether a special PET scan tracer can spot inflammation in the brains of people who have long-term symptoms after COVID-19 (called long COVID or Neuro-PASC). About 60 adults aged 18 to 70, including healthy volunteers, will get MRI and PET scans over several visits. The goal is to understand brain changes, not to test a treatment.
