NCT ID NCT07511764

First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study compares two ways to help children breathe during laparoscopic hernia repair: a laryngeal mask airway (LMA) versus a breathing tube (endotracheal intubation). The goal is to see which method is safer and leads to faster recovery. About 266 children aged 1 to 10 will take part. The results will help doctors choose the best airway approach for pediatric laparoscopy.
