First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests a new approach for people with a type of bile duct cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. Patients first receive chemotherapy and radiation, then a liver transplant. The goal is to see if this combination helps patients live longer and keeps the cancer from coming back. The trial will include 34 patients aged 70 or younger with small tumors and no spread to lymph nodes or other organs.
