Massive study aims to predict bleeding in liver transplants

Summary
This study watches 1200 liver transplant patients to learn what causes bleeding and blood clots during and after surgery. Doctors will use new computer methods to find patterns that current models miss. The goal is to help hospitals better manage bleeding and reduce the need for blood transfusions.
