Wrist procedure tested for liver cancer, aims for faster recovery
NCT ID NCT07160374
Summary
This study tested a new way to perform a common liver cancer treatment. Instead of accessing an artery in the groin, doctors delivered chemotherapy beads through an artery in the wrist. The goal was to see if this approach was safe, effective, and led to fewer complications and a quicker recovery for patients.
