Radiation zaps liver tumors, grows healthy tissue for surgery
NCT ID NCT05195710
Summary
This study is testing a radiation treatment called Y-90 radioembolization for patients whose colorectal cancer has spread to the liver. The goal is to see if this treatment can safely shrink tumors on one side of the liver while encouraging the healthy side to grow larger. This process aims to make patients better candidates for a major surgery to remove the cancer.
