New drug trial aims to stop liver cancer from coming back

Summary
This study is testing whether adding a medication called a PD-1 inhibitor after a standard heat treatment (microwave ablation) can help keep early-stage liver cancer from returning. Researchers will follow 200 patients who have had the heat treatment to see if the drug improves survival and prevents recurrence. The goal is to see if this combination is a safe and effective way to better control the disease.
