Scan could reveal best liver cancer treatment path
NCT ID NCT07449065
Summary
This study looked back at past patient records to see if a specific feature seen on a CT scan (called radiographic microvascular invasion) can predict how well patients with intermediate-stage liver cancer will respond to treatment. It compared patients who received a standard procedure (TACE) plus a type of oral drug (TKI) against those who received the standard procedure alone. The goal is to help doctors better select the right treatment for future patients.
