Radical new approach: cutting out tumors after drugs for tough liver cancers

NCT ID NCT04649489

Summary

This study is for adults with a specific, hard-to-treat form of liver cancer that has spread into major blood vessels. It tests if adding surgery to remove the tumor after initial drug therapy works better than continuing drugs alone. The goal is to see if this aggressive combination can better control the cancer and help patients live longer.
