Summary
This study tested the safety and effectiveness of a two-drug combination (atezolizumab and bevacizumab) for patients with advanced liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. The treatment was given to 152 patients who had not received any prior drug therapy for their cancer. Researchers measured how long patients lived, how long the cancer was controlled, and what side effects occurred.
