New combo therapy aims to turn inoperable liver cancer into surgical candidates

Summary
This study tests whether a sequence of treatments—chemotherapy infused into the liver, two drugs (durvalumab and bevacizumab), and targeted radiation—can shrink advanced liver cancer enough to allow surgery. About 30 adults with liver cancer that cannot currently be removed will receive this combination. The goal is to see if the cancer becomes operable and to monitor side effects.
