Blood test could revolutionize how doctors track testicular cancer
NCT ID NCT07376096
Summary
This study aims to see if a 'liquid biopsy' blood test can detect and monitor testicular germ cell tumors. Researchers will enroll 200 men—100 with early-stage cancer and 100 with cancer that has spread—and collect their blood at key points during treatment. The goal is to compare this new blood test to current monitoring methods to see if it's more accurate, especially for patients whose cancer doesn't show up on standard tests.
