Red light shines on bedsores: new trial tests healing power

Summary
This study tests whether shining a specific red light (photobiomodulation) on pressure ulcers (bedsores) can help them heal faster. About 46 intensive care patients with stage 2 bedsores will either get standard wound care or standard care plus daily red light sessions for 14 days. Researchers will measure wound size and healing scores to see if the light treatment makes a difference.
