Red light therapy tested to boost IVF success
NCT ID NCT07425080
Summary
This study is testing whether a gentle red light treatment can improve embryo development during in vitro fertilization (IVF). Researchers will apply the light to eggs before fertilization to see if it helps them grow into healthier embryos. The study involves 270 women undergoing IVF who will have some of their eggs receive the light treatment while others serve as comparisons. The goal is to see if this approach leads to better quality embryos and higher pregnancy rates.
