Could a light on the head ease autism symptoms? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT05363982
Summary
This study tested whether a non-invasive light treatment, aimed at the forehead, could help reduce core symptoms of autism in adults. Forty-one adults with autism participated in an 8-week trial where some received the real light therapy and others received a sham (fake) treatment. Researchers measured changes in social skills, repetitive behaviors, and overall functioning to see if the treatment was safe and effective.
