Small study probes lidocaine levels in breast surgery patients
NCT ID NCT01687348
First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looked at how the numbing drug lidocaine behaves in women having a mastectomy. Researchers took blood samples over 48 hours to measure drug levels and check pain control. The goal was to better understand dosing and safety, not to test a new treatment. Only 6 people took part, so results are limited.
