NCT ID NCT07414706
First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving a numbing medicine (lidocaine) through the vein during surgery, along with a local painkiller injection, helps people recover better after laparoscopic colon cancer surgery. About 182 adults will be randomly assigned to get either the IV lidocaine plus local injection or just the local injection alone. The main goal is to see if the combination improves overall recovery, pain, and the need for painkillers.
