Scientists launch worldwide hunt to track deadly bacterial outbreaks
NCT ID NCT04288674
Summary
This study is creating a global registry to track severe cases of leptospirosis, a serious bacterial infection spread by animals and contaminated water. Researchers will enroll 200 participants who have the disease to collect information on how it spreads, how patients fare, and what factors lead to better or worse outcomes. The goal is to build knowledge to help doctors predict, manage, and respond to future outbreaks more effectively.
