Summary
This completed study looked at whether children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) can learn new words just by overhearing conversations, including through video calls. Researchers tracked where the children looked when shown images to see if they understood the new words. The study included 342 children with and without ASD, aged 18 to 71 months.
